On Friday 13 July one of our inspiring patients will be taking part in a 1.2 mile sea swim off the North Beach in Tenby (The Long Course Weekend Wales Swim). She is doing this to raise funds for the Polyposis Registry and will be accompanied by her friend Michael and brother Peter, both of whom have signed up to join her in the challenge.
Helen has an interesting story and speaks of the important work we do, not just in identifying those at risk of FAP and other polyposis conditions but also in continually carrying out research to improve the clinical care of our patients, educating other healthcare professionals along the way…..
