Referral information for Healthcare Professional’s
Our referral criteria includes:
Patients with multiple colorectal adenomas (MRCA), defined in British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) guidelines as patients under 60 years with a lifetime total of ≥10 adenomas; or patients from 60 years with a lifetime total of ≥20 adenomas; or ≥10 adenomas and a Family History of CRC (FHCC) or polyposis.
Patients who meet the moderate risk FHCC criteria (1x FDR <50 or 2x FDR’s at any age).
Young onset colorectal cancer under the age of 50.
Patients with a genetic diagnosis of a polyposis syndrome or Lynch Syndrome.
Patients with a clinical phenotype of a polyposis syndrome.
Surgical consultation for polyposis or Lynch Syndrome patients.

If you have a patient who meets any of the criteria above, we welcome a referral to our service. If you have any questions with regard to referring patients, please do not hesitate to contact us.
