Moderate risk families

Moderate-risk individuals are those with one 1x First Degree Relative (FDR) diagnosed with bowel cancer under the age of 50 OR 2x FDR’s diagnosed with bowel cancer at any age (the person referred to us will need to be a FDR of at least one affected individual). A person with a moderate familial risk of bowel cancer should have a one-off colonoscopy at age 55.
