Due to my family history of colorectal cancer I have been under the care of the Family Cancer Clinic at St Mark’s hospital for some years now. Dr Monahan and his team – in particular Nurse Laura with whom I have had the most contact- are exceptionally caring and professional.They keep in regular communication -checking on symptoms, organizing tests etc- and show true interest in both my physical and mental well being; well beyond what could be expected. I truly find the Family Cancer Clinic a fine example of what is great about the NHS and consider myself lucky to be under their care.
