Low/average risk:
Average-risk individuals are those with no family history of bowel cancer or a family history which does not fulfil the moderate or high-risk definitions below. A person with an average risk of bowel cancer should be managed via the National Bowel Cancer Screening Programme (include link to NHS BCSP). Please note: we do not accept referrals for average risk individuals; this can be assessed and managed via GP services.
